Apparatus and method for detecting defects of a test object

Abstract

There is provided a device (1) for detecting defects of a test object. The device (1) comprises a light source (2) for illuminating the specimen, a detector (3) for detecting from the light source (2) emitted light, a conveyor (4) and a transition web (8). The conveyor (4) is designed for moving the object to be tested by a between the light source (2) and the detector (3) arranged in space and has two spaced-apart deflection rollers (6, 7), between which a gap (5) is formed, in which the light source (2) is arranged. The transition web (8) is arranged at least partially in the gap (5) and for transferring the test object via the gap formed (5). Furthermore, a method for detecting defects of a test object is specified.
