The results showed that the supplementation with Cr has significant effects on the values of lactate blood post-exercise, Nevertheless significant results did not exist on the power and anaerobic capacity.
Introduction: Lactate's accumulation and the lack of ATP's supply are the principal bounding factors of the muscular contraction in the exercises of high intensity and short duration. The intention of the study was to determine the effect of the supplementation with Creatine (Cr) in the high intensive interval training and to define the possible benefits generated of the above mentioned practice. Method: There were selected 12 subjects, which were divided in two groups: A group control (n=6) and an experimental group (n=6, Cr 20gr/day one week and Cr 5gr/day three weeks), all the subjects realized HIIT training in track twice a week, they were taken measurements of the blood lactate in three phases, every four weeks on having finished the trainings. They were realized test of physical condition and analysis of the corporal composition to the beginning and the end of the study. Results: The results showed that the supplementation with Cr has significant effects on the values of lactate blood post-exercise. Nevertheless significant results did not exist on the power and anaerobic capacity. The VO2máx increased 5 % and the
