Exploration and Search on Love——Interpretation of love in Sons and Lovers

Abstract

Lawrence's autobiographical novel Sons and Lovers is often defined as the best embodiment of Freud's "Oedipus Complex" theory,and Paul is the victim of "Oedipus Complex". However,contacting with Lawrence's views of love,the author's intention of seeking the true meaning of love by the two tragedies can be seen in the novel.
