Philosophy Is Philosophy:A Philosophical Judgment of Value Philosophy

Abstract

Philosophy of value" is not a independent branch or school of thought in philosophy. From the theory of philosophy, we can find that philosophy is philosophy. So the difficulty of study of "philosophy of value", is not in rebuilding the value's philosophy, but in putting value's philosophy as the real theme of philosophy and making philosophy's value show its read significance. However, if we only follow the sample of theory of western value's philosophy or go behind the road of dividing the western philosophy in the modern time and present time, we still let the "value" be abstract, which loses philosophy and human himself. The western people emphasize ethics' value in the sense which is against ontology and epistemology. This is the innate blemish of western value's theory. In the other side, the beginning of Chinese philosophy is the thought of value. So it is not only the western philosophy to go up to the theme of philosophy. As to put "value" as the concept of philosophy, the purpose is not to need and satisfaction but to affirm the people's status , their value and honour and to pursue the forming and consummation of human being when judging the relation of human being and this world.
