Abstract

Resumo: O presente artigo possui o intuito de abordar a literatura de Jorge Amado, em especial suas obras durante as decadas de 1930, 40 e 50, percebendo a transicao de sua narrativa: de uma escrita engajada que buscava contribuir no questionamento da ordem social vigente a producoes de perfil centralizadas sob a orientacao do Partido Comunista do Brasil. Abstract: The present article aims to deal with Jorge Amado s literature, specially his works from the period of the 1930 s, 40 s and 50 s. This author presents a transition is his narrative: from a focus on political themes to a focus on the Communist Party orientation. The first focus was a trial to contribute to the awareness about the social setting at the time and the second focus was a phase with a different production; under the orientation of the Communist Party in Brazil (Partido Comunista do Brasil).
