Abstract

The telecommunications cable of the invention comprises a series of optical fibers (1) preferably coated with a colored identification layer (2); it is divided into modules, each enveloped by a retaining sheath (3) of small thickness, easily tearable, and preferably of different colors into contact with the optical fibers, and comprises a protective casing (4) in contact with the sheaths maintenance.
