Abstract
A wireless communication system wherein wireless communications are performed via radio propagation paths, wherein a first wireless communication apparatus comprises: a receiving unit for receiving a radio signal via a radio propagation path; a disconnection detecting unit for detecting a disconnection of the radio channel between the first wireless communication apparatus and a second wireless communication apparatus; a modulation scheme control unit for selecting, upon a detection of the disconnection of the radio channel, a modulation scheme that allows the communication in a propagation path condition that is inferior to the propagation path condition of the modulation scheme that was used for the wireless communication until that detection; and a transmitting unit for notifying, to the second wireless communication apparatus, the modulation scheme selected by the modulation scheme control unit, and wherein the second wireless communication apparatus comprises: a receiving unit for receiving the selected modulation scheme from the first wireless communication apparatus; and a transmitting unit for performing, based on the selected modulation scheme received by the receiving unit, a transmission to the first wireless communication apparatus.
