Abstract

Horner's Music Education: The Background of Research and Opinion published by the Australian Council for Educational Research. Both studies were subsidized by a grant from the Calouste Culbenkian Foundation. In the present volume, however, Bartle has extended the former survey to include teaching practices in all types of Australian schools and at every instructional level, from primary school through the teacher-training college.
