Abstract
A systematic experimental teaching mode on CAD/CAM/CAT which was integrated with mechanics,electronics,and computer control was introduced.The hardware and software of the experimental system were presented.The wed-based multimedia virtual experiment was put forward for the future developmental of the experimental teaching mode.The main advantage of the experimental teaching is that students can participate in the whole process of a mechanism experiment,such as the cam,which includes the computer aided design(CAD),aided manufacture(CAM) and aided test(CAT),a feeling of achievement encourage them to perform the experiment more actively and initiatively.
