Abstract
Provided is an image processing device capable of generating a virtual slide display image having an equivalent observation visual field to that visible in an optical microscope image. The image processing device processes virtual slide image data displayed in an image display device, and is characterized by having: an image data acquisition unit that obtains image data obtained by imaging an imaging target; and an image data generation unit for generating display image data that displays an image of the imaging target in the image display device, at a display magnification corresponding to the number of visual fields in the microscope.
