APPLICATION RESEARCH OF PBL TEACHING METHOD WITH CBL TEACHING METHOD IN THE OTORHINOLARYNGOLOGY TEACHING

PBL teaching method with C BL teaching method in the Otorhinolaryngology teaching has satisfactory effect, and can significantly improve student achievement and improve the satisfaction of students and teachers appraised situation.

Abstract

[Objective]To explore the application of Problem Based Learning(PBL)and Case Based Learning(CBL)in the Otorhinolaryngology teaching.[Methods]162 clinical medicine students of grade 2009 were selected and randomly divided into observation group(81 cases)and control group(81 cases),the control group used traditional teaching methods to complete the task ENT teaching,and the observation group used PBL teaching method with CBL teaching method to complete the task ENT teaching. The application of two groups were compared.[Results]The thoroughly test scores and department examination scores of observation group were significantly higher than the control group,and the observation group of students satisfaction and teachers appraised of observation group were significantly better than the control group. There were significant differences between two groups(P﹤0.05).[Conclusion]PBL teaching method with CBL teaching method in the Otorhinolaryngology teaching has satisfactory effect,and can significantly improve student achievement and improve the satisfaction of students and teachers appraised situation.
