The image processing apparatus includes: a determining unit configured to determine one or more pieces of image data to be processed; a motion detecting unit configured to detect the motion of the image processing apparatus; a processing unit configured to execute predetermined processing regarding the one or more pieces of image data determined via the determining unit; and a processing control unit configured to execute control so as to execute the predetermined processing via the processing unit, in the case of detecting that a particular operation has been executed as to the image processing apparatus via the motion detecting unit.
