Body. The body of man is the mind’s external which feels and acts (n. 369). All things of the body are derivatives, that is, are things woven together by fibers out of first principles, which are receptacles of love and wisdom (n. 369). The life of the body depends on the correspondence of its pulse and respiration with the pulse and respiration of the spirit (n. 390).
