Abstract
Provided are an object detection method and an object detection device. The object detection method is used for detecting an object placed on a display screen. A background image is displayed on the display screen. The object detection method includes: obtaining a first image which includes a first background image on the display screen and an image of the object; obtaining a second image which includes a second background image on the display screen and the image of the object, wherein the second background image is an image which is generated when the first background image moves a preset distance in a first direction; and performing image processing on the first image and the second image so as to detect the object on the display screen. According to the object detection method and the object detection device, an object can be detected on a display screen which displays complex images so that the object can be identified and extracted effectively and thus the overall performance of a system is improved.
