Rh disease can result in severe anemia, jaundice, brain damage, and heart failure in a newborn d. 85% of people are Rh positive e. If a Rh-negative woman and a Rh-positive man conceive a child, there is the possibility that the newborn's blood will be incompatible with the mother.
