Abstract
An image processing device (10) has a calculation unit (11) and a detection unit (12). For coordinate values in a first direction included in the target processing region of an image, the calculation unit (11) adds the luminance values of the coordinate values and calculates sum values of the luminance values of the coordinate values in the first direction. For coordinate values of luminance values in a second direction included in the target processing region, the calculation unit (11) adds the luminance values of the coordinate values and calculates sum values of the luminance values of the coordinate values in the second direction. The detection unit (12) detects, on the basis of the calculation results of the calculation unit (11), a region of the image in which the sum values of the luminance values of the coordinate values in the first direction are equivalent, or a region in which the sum values of the luminance values of coordinate values in the second direction are equivalent.
