An Analysis of National Happiness and Happiness Index

Abstract

Pursuit of happiness is an eternal theme and a development goal of human society.Happiness is the sense of happiness,the psychological situation and the psychological experience with which people are satisfied when people are striving for the intended target and ideals of life and achieved them.Happiness index is a comprehensive index system used to measure and evaluate people's happiness,which is an objective index reflecting subjective feelings.Being closely related to each other and very complex,the relationship between national happiness and happiness index is neither positive nor negative.Therefore,promotion of happiness index,which is not scientific,can never be regarded as a standard of national happiness.
