Analysis of Information Security Industry and Information Security Economy

Abstract

As the information industry develops, information exchange has been the main approach to information sharing in information society. The requirement of information security becomes more and more rigorous keeping pace with the development of information systems, e-governance and information sharing. The avalanche of information security products and the maturity of some information security products show that information security industry is emerging and growing rapidly. The application of security products needs relatively centralized, and the markets are rather scattered. These two characteristics require the service of information security being perfected and to reinforce successively the inspection of information security products. So it is necessary to pay more attention on the information economy. Starting from information products, the development and problems of information security industry and information security economy are discussed, and their developing trend is presented.
