Study of the Mechanism of Qingweilichang Capsule in Rats with Experimental Ulcerative Colitis (UC)
Qingweilichang Capsule can improve the pathological changes and regulate the immunology functions of rats with UC and reduce inflammatory reactions including the tissue ulceration, cell infiltration and the tissue edema.
Abstract
Objective:To observe the effects of Qingweilichang Capsule on pathological change and T lymphocyte subgroups in rats with experimental ulcerative colitis(UC).Methods:The UC models were induced in all the rats except the normal group by the combination of dinitro-chlorobenzene and acetic acid.After gastric perfusion for 20 days,the pathological changes were observed by the naked eye and the microscope.Results:After model establishment,the inflammatory reactions were reduced including the tissue ulceration,the cell infiltration and the tissue edema.The CD4+ percent and the CD8+ percent were decreased.The CD4+/CD8+ was increased.After treatment by the Qingweilichang Capsule,these inflammatory reactions were disappeared.Compared with the model group,the CD4+ percent and the CD8+ percent were increased.The CD4+/CD8+ was fallen.Conclusions:Qingweilichang Capsule can improve the pathological changes and regulate the immunology functions of rats with UC.
