the dance committee has picked what they consider to be the best darn orchestra in the South and its none other than our old friend , JIMMY SCOTT AND HIS COLLEGIANS. As an added attraction, Jimmy has signed up BUSTER DEES, formerly with Henry Busses' orchestra to do a little entertaining on his own hook. What more could you ask? What? Refreshments . .. the grill? Oke-Doke! (anyone who reads this has a mentality of a ten-year old) Food! Laughter ! Friends! Music! Rhythm! Ah Zanzibar! Ah Constantinople! Ah Los Angeles! Ah Nuts! This is no mere dance ... its ... its ... an OCCASION (we outdid ourselves on that last word). But can you keep healthy until next Saturday night? Do you know how to come in out of the rain? This indeed is a prime requisite of health! May I, with Stephen Leacock looking placidly over my shoulder, tell you, dear paplitating reader, how to come in out of the rain? Picture if you will a photograph of a muchly-bedampened youth, soddenly lying on his own doorstep, and water running in smaJl rivilets from his pockets. The door is closed, and printed under the picture is the legend, HE DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO COME IN OUT OF THE RAIN! And now, another picture, this time, of the same house, with rain beating down, and another young man peering cheerily and almost smugly out of the window. Over his shoulder, thru the curtains, we see a fire burning brightly , Under this picture, the legend HE KNTW HOW TO COME IN OUT OF THE RAW is printed.' The comparison of the two is overwhelming. Obviously , you must know how to come in out of the rain, and here is how to do it. The signs which should lead one to suspect rain are a darkening of the clouds before about 6:30 p. m., (provided the eyes are fully open) and these signs should set up a reaction of coming inside. Approach the door with a firm and determined tread, and using the knuckles or any convenient rock, or even the head of a neighbors brat, knock gently upon the door, at the same time exclaiming in a well modulated voice.. .. "Mother, it is going to rain! May I come in, please?" Do you get it? Can YOU do it? There is truly an art to coming in …
