The elevated serum uric acid level is an independent risk factor of hypertension and was positively related with systolicBlood pressure and diastolic blood pressure.
Objective To investigate the relationship between ideal blood pressure,high-normal blood pressure and hypertension with serum uric acid. Methods In this study, the ideal blood pressure,high-normal blood pressure and hypertension patients were enrolled, the serum uric acid levels were detected, and the test results were compared and analyzed. Results The serum uric acid level of high-normal blood pressure group was significantly higher than that of ideal blood pressure group, but significantly lower than that of the hypertensive group. The incidence of hyperuricemia in high-normal blood pressure group was significantly higher than that in ideal blood pressure group and significantly lower than that in hypertensive group.Correlation between blood pressure and uric acid analysis showed:serum uric acid were positively related with systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure. Conclusions The elevated serum uric acid level is an independent risk factor of hypertension.
