ANALYSIS OF LOADED ULTRASONIC AMPLITUDE TRANSFORMER BY MEANS OF MBIUS TRANSFORMA TION

Abstract

The Mobius trasformation is applied to anaylyze the loaded amplitude transformer in a high power ultrasonic system. Several features of the vibrating horn can be predicted from the mapping: the dependence of the input impedance on the load impedance, the points of equal impedances, the condition of resonance and the working stability Limited experimental verification has been effected.
