Advance in Precision Agriculture and Suggestions on the Development of Precision Agriculture in Tianjin

Abstract

Based on the definition of precision agriculture, some key techniques of precision agriculture and its study and application situations in the United States and Germary were presented. Several problems involving farmland shortage, water shortage, agricultural environment pollution etc. seriously affect the sustainable agricultural development in Tianjin. The development of precision agricultural is significant to increase the utilization of resources, improve rural eco-environment, as well as promote sound development of agricultural economy. Combined with the situation in Tianjin, four possible suggestions about precision agriculture were put forward.
