The road to wisdom

Abstract

We need a new kind of academic inquiry that gives intellectual priority to problems of living, problems of knowledge and technological know-how being important but secondary. This new kind of inquiry, having as its basic aim to seek and promote wisdom, is needed if humanity is to learn how to make progress towards a better world.
