Biological invasion and evolutionary biology of invasions
The relationship between biological invasion and global changes was analyzed and the negative effect of biological invasion was summarized to provide some theoretical base for the prediction, control, and management of invasive species.
Abstract
Being one of the three global environmental problems,biological invasion has caused the(decrease) of bio-diversity,the destruction of eco-system,the change of environment and the loss of social(economy.)In this paper,the relationship between biological invasion and global changes was analyzed and the negative effect of biological invasion was summarized to provide some theoretical base for the prediction,(control) and management of invasive species.Additionally,biological invasion has also provided new opportunities for species evolution.The evolution emerged from the event of invasion may be the slight adjustment on some phenotypic traits,and the great alteration on some biological traits,even the formation of new species.
