Determination of Heavy Metals in Water by AAS

Abstract

Atomic absorption spectrophotometry was used to determine the heavy metal content of tap water,well water and river water from one town.The results show that the contents of Cr,Cd and Pb are in line with national standards.These results provide an experimental evidence for the water quality and safety.
