Biofuels or Biofools

Abstract

The growing use of land in countries like Indonesia to grow biofuels has led to members of indigenous communities like the Orang Rimba having to lose their lands and suffer from starvation. The same situation is happening in many other countries in the global South; and it is important to understand that food sovereignty and sustainable farming cannot succeed unless dangerous policies arescrapped.
