Abstract
The invention relates to an object detection apparatus, an object detection system, an object detection method and a progam, which can improve object detection performance. In the object detection apparatus, a flow export unit exports optical flows based on feature points of captured iamges acquired periodically by a camera that captures images of the vicinity of a vehicle, and an object detection unit detects an object based on the optical flows. In addition, a signal receiving unit acquires the velocity of the vehicle (a step S11), and a parameter setting unit sets a feature point parameter that affects the number of the feature points based on the velocity of the vehicle (steps S13 and S14). In this way, object detection performance can be improved by appropriately adjusting the detection sensitivity of the object based on the velocity of the vehicle.
