Abstract

There are many different types of services that can be provided to cloud computing consumers, such as on-demand services, flexible pricing, and risk transfer during resource sharing. The security of data, energy consumption, and server consolidation are all issues that cloud computing is now grappling with. There has been some research on enhancing security at several levels, including application, operating system, VM, and hardware. An innovative DevOps framework and methodology are presented in this thesis to help rationalize and systematize security and privacy analyses in multiCloud so that an informed decision-process for risk-cost balanced selection of the protections of system components and the protections requested from Cloud Service Providers can be enabled. MultiCloud application development is the primary emphasis of the work being done at this time.
