After introducing the common use of embedded system,from the definition and composition of embedded system,gives a full review on the recent developments of embedded system,especially the developments of embedded software technology which is emphasized of its embedded browser,embedded database,embedded mobile database and embedded GUI system and gives there are some prospects of the future of embedded system.
