Analysing Medea in Greek Mythology

Abstract

Medea is the first female of western literature,who has independent will in Greek mythology.She is permeated with Greek's unrestrained desire,passionate love,untrammeled personality and intensely personal will.This is also the essential characteristics of a series of bad women in western literary works.What is called bad women is only the pressure and distortion of patriarchal society to female personality.
