Abstract
It is intended to provide a novel agent for hair growth having an excellent hair growth effect. The agent for hair growth of the invention contains as an active ingredient, at lest one substance selected from the group consisting of processed semi-mature soybean and/or a processed semi-mature soybean extract, processed Polygoni multiflori Radix, a processed Polygoni Multiflori Radix extract, processed Cynanchum bungei Decne and a processed Cynanchum bungei Decne extract, and preferably further contains a longan seed and/or a longan seed extract. The agent for hair growth of the invention has no side effect in the case where it is used orally or externally, and can notably grow hair in a short period of time ranging from 6 to 12 weeks, and further can improve the color and gloss of hair.
