Abstract

The present invention discloses a photovoltaic device, nano-particles and nano particles formed. The optoelectronic device includes a light transmitting a first electrode; a first semiconductor layer, said first semiconductor layer is in contact with the first electrode directly electrically; a second semiconductor layer, the second semiconductor layer and the first semiconductor direct electrical contact layer, light absorbing and containing nano particles; and a second electrode, the second electrode contacting the second semiconductor layer is directly electrically, the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer therebetween formed between the junction, when the photovoltaic device is not irradiated, free electrons and free holes at least one side of the junction is substantially depleted. The nanoparticles comprise: a quantum dot core; a first shell, said shell comprising a first substantially completely surrounds the core of the quantum dot cation; and a second shell, said second shell comprising substantially completely surrounding the first shell anion.
