Abstract
It is described that the drinking water in the 21st century will be faced with the problem of water pollution,including the pollution of inorganic and organic compounds,microbes and endocrine disruptors.It is discussed that the water purification technologies in the new century,which mainly introduce ozone activated carbon combined technology,microbial treatment,POU(point of users)water treatment,membrane separation technology and so on.Suggestions such as: to strengthen the investigation of pollution of water quality in various areas,to research new problems of pollution such as endocrine disruptor pollution,to strengthen the integrated study of water purification technology,are proposed.And to pay more attention to the application research of membrane separation technology for water treatment also are pointed out.
