Use of logistic regression, nonlinear regression, and linear regression in lung cancer research
This paper aims to summarize some articles from three regression model including logistic regression, linear regression, and non-linear regression used in predicting lung cancer, analyzing the drug efficacy of lung cancer related drugs, and so on.
Abstract
Lung cancer is a major threat to people’s life and health globally. It shares great studying values in the medical field. A large number of researchers have been dedicated to studying this disease, and finally find something helpful. Therefore, this paper aims to summarize some articles from three regression model including logistic regression, linear regression, and non-linear regression. They can all be used when people study the lung cancer. These three regression models can also be used with other methods such as Students’t test, Chi-square distribution and so on. The regressions were used in predicting lung cancer, analyzing the drug efficacy of lung cancer related drugs. These researchers indicate that statistical methods are a powerful tool to study lung cancer quantitatively. This paper can help the people who want to research lung cancer field by using different regressions to decide which 5regression is much more appropriate to their projects.
