Ian MacLennan was vice president of the Hilton Credit Corporation during the time when data processing was being applied to Carte Blanche operations.
Mr. MacLennan is an outstanding figure in the hotel industry because of his wide experience in operating large hotels. Before joining Hilton Hotels, he managed the Cardy chain of hotels in Canada which included the Mount Royal in Montreal and the Prince Edward in Toronto. Mr. MacLennan was vice president of the Hilton Credit Corporation during the time when data processing was being applied to Carte Blanche operations. He was primarily responsible for interesting the Statler Foundation in aiding the Cornell study on hotel automation. Presently he is taking an active part in furthering this project. Prof. C. I.
