All tlrticles submitted for publication in this journal should be typed with double or treble spacing. Oarbon copies should not be sent. Authors are requested to avoid the use of abbreviations and not to underline either words or phrases. References to articles and books should be carefully checked. In a reference the following information should be given without abbreviation: surname of author, initials of author, year, full title of article, name of journal without abbreviation, volume, number of first page of the article. If a reference is made to an abstract of a paper, the name of the original journal, together with that of the journal in which the abstract has appeared, should be given with fUll date in each instance. Authors who are not accustomed to preparing drawings or photographic prints for reproduction are invited to seek the advice of the Editor. •
