This new method for synthesis of creatine has many advantages, such as moderate reaction, easy and safe operating conditions, and the yield of creatine is 59.87%.
Abstract
Aim To study the process for synthesis of creatine.Methods O-methylisourea sulfate was synthesized by using urea and dimethyl sulfate as starting materials.then,creatine was synthesized by O-methylisourea sulfate react with sarcosine sodium salt.Results The yield of creatine is 59.87%.Conclusion This new method has many advantages,such as moderate reaction,easy and safe operating conditions.
