Sign language recognition
The sign language translator uses a glove fitted sensors that can interrupt the basic words of the differently abled sign language, which will give an opportunity for physically disabled people to communicate with ordinary people.
Abstract
123 Abstract—The sign language used by physically challenged, but sign language remains a sixth position in langu ages. This language when translated into words such that every one can understand, improves the communication between peop le and they lead to many other application. The main object ive is to develop an electronic device that can translate the sign language into text. The sign language translator we have deve loped uses a glove fitted sensors that can interrupt the basic words of the differently abled sign language. The glove uses a sl iding potentiometer and 3axis accelerometers to gather information about the finger’s position and hand’s motion to di fferentiate the words. This will give an opportunity for physically disabled people to communicate with ordinary people.
