Abstract

MEXICO in revolution lends itself to varied evaluations. Twoscore years of hectic activity in the search for national reforms that will compensate for the neglect of centuries has resulted in many changes in the social and economic processes of that nation. The pressure of time and of revolutionary enthusiasms has led to the inauguration of programs and the use of methods that to some may seem unwise and that in many instances are at least unconventional. Because these changes are both a product and a part of a social revolution, they take on the nature of controversies and are subject to conflicting interpretations.
