Abstract

Recommender systems have become an important research field since emergence of the first paper on these subjects in the early 1990s. Recommender systems are defined as the supporting systems which help users to find information, products, or services (e.g. books, movies, music, digital products, web sites, and TV programs) by aggregating and analyzing suggestions from other users, which means reviews from various authorities, and user attribute. Recommender systems are classified into three categories: content based recommender systems, collaborative based recommender systems, knowledge based recommender systems and hybrid recommender systems. These paper gives theoretical explanation and extensive systematic literature review on the topic of recommender systems.
