Abstract

India is one of the fastest developing economy and behind this developing country are the brains of People enriched with loads of information from the Library books. Taking you to a journey from 'How Indian Libraries are managed?' to 'The most Beautiful Libraries of India'. Since a library has a collection of thousands of books it becomes very difficult to manage them, to solve this problem many Library Softwares were created which now help the librarians to manage their work. Hope that this book helps and contributes Knowledge and Information about Indian Libraries. All the great people who took birth in this world for an instance Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was fond of knowledge and had about 50,000 books in his own personal collection. After all Carl Sagan has rightly said, "The health of our civilization, the depth of our awareness about the underpinnings of our culture and our concern for the future can be tested by how well we support our Libraries."
