Abstract
The purpose of this tutoriat is to provide an overview of practical methods and techniques for managing the process of designing good user interfaces. The tutorial is organized around a traditional project life cycle, and presents human factors methods which can be applied at different points in the development process. Methods and techniques presented include not only information gathering, design and evaluation techniques, but also organizational and managerial strategies.
