New and renewable sources of energy

Abstract

After an introduction by Morris Miller, Deputy Secretary-General of this conference, the book examines the technological and economic prospects and the problems involved in application of new and renewable energy technologies for development. Next a summary of national developments in both industrialized and Third World countries is followed by the full text of the Nairobi Plan of Action and an examination of the potentials and constraints on applying new and renewable energy sources in the development process.
