When new products are launched in the market, customers have the benefit of seeing, touching and feeling the product. Any associated incongruity can be resolved once they are able to examine the products on their own. But this is not the case with services, because lots of intangibility is associated with the services being provided and the consumer finds it tough to resolve any incongruity associated with the service.
