Study of the Memory Management

Abstract
With the increasing complexity of modern industrial control system, more rigorous requirement for high-speed collection of vast data has been desired. After analyzing the distribution and management of the memory of PC, the methods of using XMS are summarized, and a technique of high-speed accessing vast data is introduced. High-speed accessing vast data is realized by a XMS class in C++ language, which has the OO(Object Oriented) characteristics. An application that accessing vast data in an equipment of collecting and recording the information of faults, which is in an industrial control system, is presented at the last part.
