Brief Description about the Ecocriticism

Abstract

Ecocriticism is a theory discussing the relationship between literary and natural environment,aiming at fixing the tie among literary,nature and culture,improving people's consciousness of protecting environment.This paper discusses its beginning,development and meaning in order to re-seek the pastoral ideal of the harmony between human being and nature that has been lost in the industrial civilization.
