Abstract

need for scientific research of the phenomenon of delinquency in adolescents in the area of criminology, psychology, soci-ology and psychiatry. There is significant im-provement in the development of techniques for the assessment of delinquents and treatment of anti-social behaviour. Contempo-rary researches focus on fortifying developmental trajectories of the delinquency, personality features and psychopathology of delinquents, as well as on the risk and protecti-ve factors. In this work an overview of the results of recent juvenile delinquency researches will be given, with an aim to improve the assessment and treatment of adolescent delinquents whom we meet in clinical and forensic practice.
