Do lectures truly kindle learning process?
Didactic lectures in Medical Education take a sizeable portion of teaching in the pre- and paraclinical years and most of the time the lectures become the source of dispensing information rather than kindling the curiosity of the learner's mind.
Abstract
Didactic lectures in Medical Education take a sizeable portion of teaching in the pre- and paraclinical years. Most of the time the lectures become the source of dispensing information rather than kindling the curiosity of the learner's mind. Medical Education being a continual learning process lectures and lecturers must instil in the minds of the students that teaching is learning process. Educational institution is a place where they learn how to learn and understand that medical research is a " living process".
