Collaborative issues in cross-national research

This report focuses on two major sets of collaborative issues, the personal/ personnel and the structural/organizational, which are organized around the phases of the project at which they optimally should be considered and resolved.

Abstract

Although the topic of research collaboration receives infrequent comment, a well functioning collaborative process is crucial to the substantive success of intercultural research enterprises. The present report addresses this topic and focuses on two major sets of collaborative issues, the personal/ personnel and the structural/organizational. The issues are organized around the phases of the project at which they optimally should be considered and resolved. Apesar de ser raramente tratado, el proceso de colaboración es central a1 éxito de las investigaciones interculturales. Este informe enfoca dos temas importantes de la colaboración; el del individuo/personal de la organización y el estructural/organizacional. Los temas se organizan alrededor de las fases del proyecto dentro del cual deben ser considerados y resueltos. Bien que le sujet de la collaboration dans la recherche reçoit rarement des commentaires, un processus de collaboration qui fonctionne bien est essentiel au succès de la recherche transculturelle. Ce rapport se concentre sur deux domaines majeurs des problèmes de la collaboration: la personne et la structure. Les problèmes sont organisés autour des phases du projet de façon à ce qu'ils soient considérés et résolus de façon optimale.
